Vice President for ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥ Advancement

Scott Rembold is vice president for ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥ advancement. In this role, he oversees all efforts to engage alumni, parents, business leaders, corporations, foundations and organizations as partners in support of the ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥, its 12 schools and programs. Rembold manages the offices of alumni relations, corporate and foundation relations, planned giving, the CUA fund, stewardship, the parents fund, reunions, and advancement services to secure funding across the institution. Rembold's team is responsible for all fundraising efforts on behalf of the ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥ including the national collection, and works closely with the ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥ Board of Trustees and members of school-based advisory boards.

Prior to joining ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥, Rembold spent 13 years at Johns Hopkins ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥; eight as the associate vice president for development and alumni relations and prior to that as the associate dean for development and alumni relations at JHU's Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). His previous advancement experience includes assignments as director of development at the George Washington ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥, director of annual giving at Arizona State ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥, and as a university fundraising consultant with the Pacific Group, based in Los Angeles.

Rembold earned a B.A. in political science and communications from Wake Forest ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥ and a master's degree in higher education leadership from the George Washington ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥.
